Learning about frogs is so much more fun when kids can make something they get to wear. These frog life cycle crowns are a cute hands on activity for spring science lessons, frog units, or pond themes. Kids can color, cut, glue, and sequence the stages of a frog’s life cycle, then wear their finished crown proudly.

Supplies Needed

How to Use the Frog Life Cycle Crowns
Print Your Crown
Choose the crown style you want to use, then print either the color or black-and-white version.
Color The Crown
If you are using the black-and-white pages, children can color the crown and life cycle pictures before assembling.
Cut Out The Pieces
Next, cut out the crown pieces and the life cycle images.
Put The Life Cycle In Order
Have children place the frog life cycle stages in the correct order, then glue them onto the crown.
Attach The Bands
After that, attach the side bands and add the extra bands if needed to fit the child’s head.
Close The Crown
Tape or staple the crown closed to finish. Then let your little one wear it proudly!
