Christmas Pattern Worksheets For Preschoolers
Making patterns is a fun way for preschool and kindergarten-age kids to practice math skills like logic.
So why not use fun holiday-themed activities to help children keep learning and having fun during the holiday season?
These activity pages are print-and-go with no prep needed other than providing safety scissors and glue, perfect for this busy time of the year.
Supplies Needed
- Printable pattern worksheets PDF (download at the end)
- Printer and paper
- Scissors or paper trimmer. If you are having your children cut apart the pattern boxes make sure to provide child-safe scissors and supervision. If you are cutting them apart ahead of time, you can use whatever scissors or paper trimmer you like.
- Kids Glue
How To Use
After downloading the printable sheets, print them on letter-sized printer paper.
Provide child-safe scissors and glue then have your children cut apart the pattern squares on the bottom of the page.
Cutting the squares by hand is helpful fine motor and scissor skill practice for kids. Just remember always to provide child-safe scissors and also supervision if they are just learning how to cut and paste.
Then, they can glue the correct picture in the box to complete each pattern row. After completing the activity, they can color the pictures if they like.
Encourage them to color the pictures with alternating colors to keep the pattern.
