Easy Dandelion Iced Tea

Beat the heat with dandelion iced tea! This simple, tasty drink is perfect for summer and super easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 8 tea bags
  • 2 cups of dandelion flowers
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 gallon of water

Instructions

  • Rince the dandelion flowers under cool water to remove any little bugs and dirt.
  • Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large pot, when boiling add the sugar and stir until it's fully dissolved.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and add the tea bags, dandelion flowers, and baking soda. Place the lid on your pot and let the tea steep for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the flowers and tea bags and pour the tea into a heat-proof container. Add the remaining 8 cups of cold water and stir.
  • Place the iced tea into the fridge until chilled and ready to serve.
