How To Make A No Sew Fleece Blanket
This no-sew fleece blanket is a soft, cozy DIY project you can finish in about an hour, no sewing required.
Yield: 1 blanket
- 2 pieces of fleece fabric cut to matching size
Lay the two fleece pieces together, wrong sides facing in, and cut both layers to your desired blanket size.
Trim the selvedge edges off the sides.
Pin the layers together about 5 to 6 inches in from the edge.
Cut a square from each of the 4 corners, matching the length you want your fringe.
Cut fringe strips about 1 to 1½ inches wide around all four sides.
Remove the pins.
Tie each matching pair of strips into a knot, doubling the knot if the blanket will be washed often.
For baby blankets, sew a seam just inside the fringe before tying for extra durability.
