Get 2 cookie sheets out and line them with parchment paper and set them aside.
In a large saucepan melt the butter on low until it’s fully melted and sizzling hot.
Once the butter is melted add in the sugar, cocoa, and milk and stir well. Increase the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a boil while stirring constantly.
Boil the mixture for 3 minutes, remembering to stir it the whole time.
When the timer is up, remove the pot from the heat and add in the vanilla and peanut butter sitting until it’s well combined.
Finally, add the oats and stir until they have been mixed in well with the chocolate.
Drop by heaping tablespoons onto parchment or wax paper-lined baking sheets. Allow the cookies to cool before eating.
