Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 loaf of sandwich bread about 16-18 cups cubed

Topping

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the pumpkin puree, eggs, white sugar, vanilla, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, and nutmeg, and whisk together.
  • Add the bread cubes and gently fold to coat, then pour into your prepared baking dish.
  • In a small mixing bowl, stir together the brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, flour, and melted butter until the mixture is crumbly. Then sprinkle evenly over the top of the bread cubes.
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until it’s golden brown on top.
