- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 loaf of sandwich bread about 16-18 cups cubed
Topping
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon butter melted
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add the pumpkin puree, eggs, white sugar, vanilla, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, and nutmeg, and whisk together.
Add the bread cubes and gently fold to coat, then pour into your prepared baking dish.
In a small mixing bowl, stir together the brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, flour, and melted butter until the mixture is crumbly. Then sprinkle evenly over the top of the bread cubes.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until it’s golden brown on top.
