Lots Of New Snow!

Sunday afternoon we had a good snow storm move in. For most of the evening you couldn’t see across the road! It was a heavy wet snow that stuck to everything. The next day I took a few photos in the evening. The snow is so pretty when it’s hanging on the trees!
It’s time to get the icicles off the front of the house!
When hubby went out to start digging out the driveway, we found a large crack in the van’s windshield. It wasn’t there on Sat. morning so must have happen Sat. night when he was coming home from helping a friend move. It was a very storm night and a stone could easily have been thrown up with snow when a car passed him. We can see the chip then it spreads out from there. After calling around we’ve had no luck finding a used windshield, so we had to book it for a new install. I’ll be glad when it’s done, but not so happy about the $400 it’s going to cost us. (sigh)
We did pick up the grey paint for the living room and we think it will go well with the slate blue on the bottom. I’m looking forward to having that done! Hubby was joking with me last night, that we just might leave the Christmas decorations up until Feb. since we are getting such a late start for us. LOL

I agree on the horse and buggies!! Yup dh been helping move Amanda's family. 🙂 I heard you had quite a storm out east to!!
Sorry to hear about your van, that is so frustrating! Honestly, I think the Mennonites and Amish have the right idea with horses and buggies! Mike's family's cottage is not far from you ( Townsend Lake) and they didn't get up there due to the snow, but they are up there quite a bit throughout the winter. ( You dh must have been helping that Amanda girl move! Hi Amanda!!) Can't wait to see your completed renos, Kim!
I bet he wasn't! LOL It's frustrating to have to spend so much on "little" things that pop up. Did you guys get much snow over your way?
Oh no 🙁 . We've had that happen before, I think it was just after we bought our brand new (only NEW new car we ever had lol) Focus, wham, stone broke the windshield! Dh was not a happy camper :s
