The Greenhouse Is Filling Up!

It’s been a very busy day in the greenhouse! The weather outside was just a little cool, but it was a lovely 30 C inside our greenhouse. I made good use of the afternoon to get many of our cooler crops started.
This photo shows our cabbage, broccoli, collards, asparagus, and rhubarb. I’ve never tried growing rhubarb from seed before, so I hope it does ok!
I started about 28 cups of it and it’s an heirloom variety called Victoria. It’s not as dark red as the strawberry rhubarb variety but supposedly it never gets tough or stringy.
These black trays are our leeks and green onions. I would have liked to get the leeks started sooner, but we ran out of room in the house and until last week the greenhouse was buried in snow!
Our peppers under the grow lights in the house are doing very well. These ones are the hot wax peppers I’m growing for hubby. Later in the summer if they produce well we’ll turn them into pickled hot peppers.
