Winter Is So Pretty!

Goodness it’s been cold here this week! Tuesday the temperature dropped down to – 25 C plus a wind-chill. I thought that was cold enough but nope Wednesday just had to out do it by dropping to – 28 C! Burrr!! We decided to do our shopping on Wednesday and had a nice time out. When we first went out the frost had built up on the trees overnight. With the sun shining on them, they were just beautiful! Today it’s been a LITTLE warmer, but the cold water pipe for the washing machine had frozen. It took me all day to get it thawed out. Reminds me of last year when that kind of cold lasted for months. Eeks I’m glad that so far the winter hasn’t been that bad again.

Winter is beautiful, isn't it? And you're right, this winter has been tropical compared to last winter. I am grateful for it daily. They're predicting above freezing temps for tomorrow here. (Northern Minnesota) It's only for a day, but we don't have anything below 0 F. for quite awhile. Lovin' it.
