Easy Blueberry Crisp

Ingredients

Topping

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup large flake oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup salted butter melted

Filling

  • 6 cups blueberries
  • 2 TBS. all purpose flour
  • 2 TBS. granulated white sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Place blueberries in a bowl and mix gently with flour, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice then pour into a 9x13 baking pan.
  • In a separate bowl mix together the topping until crumbly. Sprinkle over the blueberries.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

Notes

Store cooked blueberry crisp covered on the counter for 1-2 days or in the fridge for 4-5 days.
If you have very juicy blueberries add an extra teaspoon of cornstarch to the filling. This will help keep it from being too runny.
To freeze prepare the crisp and wrap it well with plastic wrap then freeze. When ready to bake increase the baking time by 10-15 minutes.
