Strawberry Top Syrup

This strawberry top syrup is a simple homemade recipe that turns leftover strawberry tops into a sweet, fruity syrup. It’s easy to make with just a few ingredients and is perfect for pancakes, drinks, or desserts.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberry tops
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Strain the liquid through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the berries and leaves.
  • Pour the liquid back into your pot and simmer for another 15 minutes until it’s a thick syrup consistency.
  • Remove from the heat and let cool until safe to handle, then pour into jars and refrigerate.
