Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until well combined.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix well until you have a soft dough.
  • Add chocolate chips and stir until they are just mixed through the dough.
  • Drop by the tablespoon onto a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
