Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

How To Make Thick Chocolate Chip Cookies

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.

Add the butter and sugar to your mixing bowl and cream them together.

Storage & Freezing Tips

Room Temperature: Store the cooled cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days. To keep them extra soft, add a slice of bread inside the container.

Freezing Cookie Dough: Scoop the dough into balls and freeze them on a baking sheet until firm. Then transfer them to a freezer bag or an airtight container for up to 3 months. You can bake them straight from frozen, just add one or two minutes to the baking time.
