I’ve had so many requests to make a crochet headband pattern based on my easy ribbed crochet hat pattern and I’m so glad that I finally had some time to sit down and whip some up. I love making these easy crochet headbands, they work up so fast that I can make many for my girls in just an afternoon.

Sizing: woman, teen, child, toddler/preschooler
The number of rows listed in each pattern are estimates and are what works best for my family. Your total number of rows will depend on your stitch gage, and the thickness and stretch of your yarn. I do adjust each headbands size when I make them by measuring the circumference of my child’s head.
For best results measure the circumference of your child’s head and continue making rows until your headband is 1 – 2 inches shorter than the circumference, depending on the stretchiness of your yarn.
