This chicken Caesar pasta salad is made with tender pasta, chicken, crisp romaine, crunchy croutons, and a creamy Caesar dressing. It’s filling enough for a meal but still works great as a side, and comes together quickly with simple ingredients.
This is one of my favorite quick dinner recipes. It comes together in 30 minutes or less and has all the flavors of a classic Caesar salad but with the heartiness of pasta salad.
It’s a great option when you need an easy pasta salad recipe that feeds a crowd. Whether you’re planning a BBQ side dish, potluck dish, or looking for a cold lunch idea for a big family, this large-batch recipe makes enough to feed a group and comes together with little effort.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of spiral pasta
- 4 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 8 cups sliced romaine lettuce
- 4 cups croutons
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Dressing
- 2 cups Miracle Whip (or mayo)
- 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
How To Make Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad
Start by cooking the pasta according to the package directions. Once it’s done, drain it and rinse under cold water until completely cooled. Drain well and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking, make the dressing. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Miracle Whip (or mayonnaise), Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, then taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, diced chicken, sliced romaine lettuce, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and dressing.
Toss everything together until evenly coated. Serve right away, or cover and refrigerate until you’re ready to serve.
