This recipe makes 24 sliders, which is great for feeding a large family, bringing to a potluck, or serving at parties and game days. You can keep them classic with pepperoni or swap in your favorite pizza toppings to make them your own.
Ingredients
- 24 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 24 pepperoni slices
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
How To Make Hawaiian Roll Pizza Sliders
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease two 9×13 baking dishes or use one large baking sheet if you prefer.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, stir in the garlic powder and oregano, then keep it on low while you assemble the sliders.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves into your prepared baking dishes or onto the baking sheet. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the rolls.
Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella over the sauce, then arrange the pepperoni slices on top.
Add the sliced red onion and any other toppings you like.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese over everything, then place the top halves of the rolls back on.
Brush the tops generously with the garlic butter.
Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and everything is warmed through. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
